Nicole Froio is a Colombian-Brazilian journalist, researcher and writer. She has a BA in Journalism from the University of Sheffield, a Masters in Women, Violence and Conflict from the University of York and a doctorate in Philosophy, Media Studies and Women’s Studies also from the University of York. Nicole has worked as a researcher, journalist, copywriter, translator, editor and proofreader for nearly a decade. Publicly, she writes about pop culture, violence against women, inequality, Brazilian politics and news, digital cultures and books. Behind the scenes, Nicole also edits, proofreads and translates articles, academic texts and unpublished manuscripts.
