Hello Adrienne. I truly enjoyed reading your article about Transformative Justice. I think it spoke depths about how we as a community need to reevaluate the way we look at crime. Asking “why” is super important and we as individuals all have our different stories and it is important to listen rather than stick to mass and intimate punishments. We need to evolve as humans and treat people, communities and groups with compassion and try to solve and heal the problem at its root cause rather tan brushing it off at the surface. That is temporary and as you mentioned in your article “long-term injustice create most evil behavior.” I think ultimately we need to self reflect and aim at being better human beings everyday. Revolution i snot a one time event and but consistency is key.
